Brief Testimony:
Like stringing pearls, Karen's Christian faith has been a process. Each decade brought a different pearl of Biblical understanding.
Jesus Christ became her Lord and Savior when she was twelve years old. But she lived as a performance-driven Christian trying to earn His love.
In 2003, Loretta Chalfant saw Karen's hunger for God and urged herto go beyond Biblical head knowledge and know God. As Karen spent more time applying Biblical truths rather than "doing things" for God, she began to experience the joy and intimacy of being in God's presence.
"For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." Psalms 36:9
